Hi Friends! đź‘‹

📊 Daily Stand-Up: Yesterday, as the Lead Engineer, we hardened our firebase functions and got the project into a good place for testers. While out doing errands, we suddenly got the opportunity to step into our PM role as we showed the game off to some folks. This was an amazing opportunity as the woman we were talking to stated how much she loved this type of game so we handed it to her. She pressed play and stared at the screen reading. Then it became clear she didn’t know what to do next.

We prompted her by asking what she wanted to do and she said she was looking for a next button or something like it.…We’ve heard this feedback before and so we took time to make it more obvious what the player can/should do after starting a game. We’ll circle back on this with testers after we send out the app and start the process of getting feedback.

Back to our checklist:

  • Send to testers
  • Ability to brick the app for forced upgrades
  • In app purchasing
  • Advertising

Today we have to address work from a client and send the app to testers.
