📊 Daily Stand-Up:  Last Thursday we meet with the client and talked through our questions and learned a lot.

Some of the highlights from the customer:

This is great; you’ve exceeded my expectations.
To me an app has to be completely intuitive for me to like it.
While I like this feature I’d really rather it be presented this way.
Why when I load this page does it automatically default to this value?
In the dropdown for groups & devices can you show the devices attached to each group?

Those last few were great because we were hoping for some constructive feedback.  Overall we did well not to lead the customer into any conclusions, to listen and capture their feedback and build our relationship further.

We also made an executive decision regarding the audio feature.  While it seemed like a great idea and we explored several libraries ultimately there was a problem at the core of this idea. Timing sample rates of audio to the sending of bluetooth commands is really difficult. We found ourselves oversampling and sending far too many commands for the receiver to act or undersampling so that audio was often missed.  So our decision is to put this feature to the side and research it more during 10% time. We will shift our focus back to main features and responding to the feedback from our customer.  *We should note the customer never asked us for an audio feature.

Today as the Lead Engineer, we’ll focus on feedback from the customer, fixing some error handling we saw and hopefully start looking at how to insert some banner ads.
