📊 Daily Stand-Up: Last we talked we had a few things left on our todo list.
* Advertising
* Loading screen
* Saving of local state (we never circled back to SharedPreferences vs local storage)
* Inserting of client logos/branding
* Ability to change background
* Deploying to stores
As the Product Manager, we used the holidays to our advantage and recruited several family members to use the app. The feedback we got was really, really important. There were at least 2 bugs found this way and also an assumption that we had made was challenged. Ultimately as the Lead Engineer, we ripped out the DropdownMenu in favor of DropdownButton2. The bug specifically around the dropdown showed that the DropdownMenu selection couldn’t be updated programmatically and couldn’t contain dividers inserted between our groups and devices. We also received the client logos and branding over the holidays and got that inserted into the app.
Today we’ll wrap up saving of local state and try to set up our next product meeting.
